A twist on traditional rye. Chernushka Rye takes Zingerman's great rye base made with organic wheat flour and loads of rye flour, and packs it with loads of nigella seeds: a cross between a pepper and a caraway seed. It has a smoky scent to the finish and a mild amount of spice. Not so much your mouth is burning, just enough to make things interesting and very tasty.
